Rida Nuwayhid is the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Professor in the Mechatronics Engineering Department at the American University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Lebanon. His teaching and research experiences are mostly in the thermal fluid sciences, appropriate and renewable technology with emphasis on Energy Conversion systems including Solar Thermal, Photovoltaics, Thermoelectrics, Photovoltaic-Thermoelectric hybrids, and other renewable energy systems.
