Prof. Khalil Kahine is a Lebanese Professor Emeritus, researcher, and engineering expert with over 30 years of experience in energy engineering, renewable energy, and sustainable development.
He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Energy Engineering from the University Henri Poincaré – Nancy I (France). Throughout his academic career at the Lebanese University and CNAM-Liban, he taught generations of engineers, supervised more than 45 research projects, and published around 35 scientific papers.
His expertise includes solar energy, energy efficiency, thermal systems, and computational modelling. As a member of the Lebanese Solar Energy Society (LSES), he supports initiatives that promote renewable energy, sustainable engineering, and Lebanon's clean energy transition.
